Philip and Amanda’s wedding at St. Mary Magdalene and Embassy Suites Greenville wedding reception.

Philip and Amanda had a gorgeous fall day for their “true New York Italian wedding in South Carolina.” Many family members traveled from NY. The day started off at Amanda’s parents’ house for the all-important “getting ready photos”.  The bride’s son, was also a junior groomsman – and certainly was not shy in front of the camera!

Wedding Party Photos by Verdae Golf Course at Embassy Suites Greenville

After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a reception at the newly renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton Golf Resort and Conference Center. While the guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and heavy hors d’oeuvres, we were able take advantage of the beautiful sunlight filtering in through the trees on the golf course for some awesome photos of the couple and the bridal party.  Of course, the groomsmen had to show off their football themed socks!

Wedding Reception in Palmetto Club room at Embassy Suites Greenville

After the cocktail hour, which took place in the lobby of the Embassy Suites, the guests sat down to dinner in Palmetto Club room.  After being introduced into the reception to the music of “Enter Sandman” by Metallica – the couple then did their choreographed first dance to several different songs, which certainly was entertaining for the guests!

The parents of the bride had recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary and her dad had two rules for the groom for a successful marriage:  “1.  Your wife is always right 2.  When something happens, and you know you are right, go back to #1!”  Great advice for sure!

After dinner, the children had a dance contest, where every child was a winner!  It was one of the highlights of the evening!
