Michael and Virginia are not only fellow Gamecocks (David & Kristina also graduated from USC in Columbia), but Virginia and David share the same High School alma mater (J.L. Mann). We had an absolute blast photographing their wedding at The Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville, SC. Cocky even made a surprise visit to the reception and challenged a few of the guests to a dance-off. Pretty sure Cocky won, but don’t take my word for it.
Stephanie’s bridal portraits at The Westin Poinsett Hotel
I’m sure Kirk and Stephanie’s friends and family will be talking about their wedding day for years to come! Everything was just perfect. From the beautifully written love letters they wrote for each other to read before walking down the aisle to 1939 Lincoln Zephyr getaway car to the high energy band, Party On The Moon, it was a night most of us will never forget.
Tim and Mandy had their wedding at Grace Church Downtown, formerly Downtown Baptist Church, a landmark in Downtown Greenville. Their reception followed at Zen, which was as elegant as always with Christmas decorations for this December wedding.
So we must really be lucky or blessed or something, but we’ve always had the greatest clients to work with, and Thomas and Laura are no exception. What do I mean by “greatest clients”? I think it usually has to do with how well we connect them, which enables us to do our job to the best of our ability. The bottom line is that when we work well together and have a mutual understanding and trust, it ultimately leads to great images. It’s obvious how great Thomas and Laura are together. Both are selfless individuals who truly value each other and their relationship and are willing to do anything for the benefit of the other. A marriage built on this type of sacrificial love is sure to be a healthy one.
