We were fortunate enough to photograph Garrett and Sara’s wedding at Greenbrier Farms in Easley…what an incredible wedding venue!
From the beautiful landscapes, vineyards, and rolling hills to the rustic elegance of the giant open air barn, this is a perfect wedding venue to get away from it all and just be in the moment.
Garrett and Sara invited family and friends from all over the country to enjoy the beautiful outdoors and the farm-to-table dining…and a night full of dancing.

It’s obvious that pictures are important to this bride and groom. They did a first look where they got to see each other before the wedding so that they could have more opportunities for photos together with their closest friends.
It was also great for them to be able to go into the barn reception area and see all of the special touches they spent so much time planning. So many couples miss out on seeing their personal details at their wedding reception because there are so many people demanding their attention after the wedding.
It’s always fun to get a shot of the groom reaching for the wedding band on his finger just after the ceremony. I (David) remember constantly noticing how it felt to wear a wedding band the first few days after our wedding.
It was a nice touch that the staff at Greenbrier passed hors d’oeuvres to the wedding party after the wedding while they were waiting for their turn in the group photos while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the barn.
The Barn at Greenbrier Farms all set up and decorated for the wedding reception.
Personalized Mason jars with table number tags on them were hand labeled for all the wedding guests to fill at the bar and take home as a favor. They also had sunglasses for all the guests with Garrett and Sara’s name on them…who doesn’t like to wear sunglass at night…while they dance?
They had great photo displays in the barn with photos of each other in their younger years as well as together. They even showcased some old photos both in memory of and in honor of family members…they totally get it…the value of having photographs of the people that mean the most. I know they and their families will treasure their wedding photographs in the same way.
The guests got to enjoy playing cornhole and giant Jenga. The cornhole game was customized with both North Carolina and Nantucket representing home for each of them. Even the giant Jenga had the Carolina Panthers’ logo on it.
To add to the personalized details and guest gifts, Sara’s dad made little wooden ornaments which were placed at each table setting.
Sara’s dad’s talents don’t end with woodworking; he also played the mandolin for a special dance that the bride and groom shared together.
The catering staff at Greenbrier prepared a true farm-to-table feast for the wedding guests. It doesn’t get fresher than this!
Adam and Brian from Uptown Entertainment were killin’ it behind the turntables!
Sara’s parents and their friends choreographed a special dance performance for the bride and groom.
