Kevin and Caitlin hosted family and friends from all across the country to celebrate their wedding at Christ Church Episcopal. When their guests entered the reception, they had the opportunity to fill out a fun little survey to indicate a few personal details as well as a map of the United States to mark the geographical location from which they traveled to attend the wedding. A couple of noteworthy DIY details are the bridal gown made by Caitlin’s mother, and the cake designed by Kevin’s sister. Sure is nice to have a talented family!
We had so much fun working with Carrie and Mike! As you can see, it was a gorgeous day for their Cliffs at Glassy wedding at the Glassy Mountain Chapel. The reception was at the Glassy Mountain Clubhouse.
The Old Cigar Warehouse Wedding Venue was the perfect choice for Logan and Lindsey! We always enjoy photographing weddings at The Old Cigar Warehouse (OCW), but this time, it was extra special.
It was an honor to be chosen by my long time friend Megan to photograph her and Mike’s wedding at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. (more…)
Some of our favorite photos from Matt and Mary-Stuart’s Christ Church Episcopal wedding and Twigs Tempietto wedding reception.
Tim and Mandy had their wedding at Grace Church Downtown, formerly Downtown Baptist Church, a landmark in Downtown Greenville. Their reception followed at Zen, which was as elegant as always with Christmas decorations for this December wedding.
One of the greatest aspects of being wedding photographers is that we get to meet so many different people from different places. It’s so much fun to find little things we have in common with each of the couples we photograph. Because John and Laura live in Maryland and we weren’t able to meet them until a couple days before their wedding, we scheduled a meeting with them to go over some last minute details and check out some possible photo locations.
What a treat to work with a couple like Chris and Catie who gave us complete creative freedom to photograph their wedding! We talked through the whole wedding day schedule and came up with a game plan to make sure we had enough time to get tons of great photos before dark.
So many things came together to make this the perfect wedding day! Drawn to the beautiful mountain vistas and a vibrant downtown, Charlie and Leiah chose to travel from Chicago to Greenville, SC for their destination wedding at the Cliffs Glassy Mountain Chapel and Larkin’s Wyche Pavilion reception. It was great as always to be working with Jennifer Dennis (Love This Little City), and what a pleasure to work beside Artifice Films again as they created a cinematic wedding film of this amazing day. Of course, with settings like these and a couple this beautiful, it’s almost too easy. Congrats Charlie and Leiah! You two were an absolute JOY to photograph!
What a great day for a Fall Backyard Wedding at the Cliffs Valley Community!
A handsome Marine and beautiful woman tie the knot in the backyard and join their families together (doggie families that is.) Both animal lovers, their dogs were certainly a big part of the wedding day.
