Corie, one of David & Kristina’s good friends just got engaged to Tyler (check out the proposal photos here), so we were excited to do their engagement photo session. They met at Smiley’s Acoustic Café in downtown Greenville, so what better place to go as a starting place for their engagement photos. The guitar shaped bar was just perfect. If you’re in Greenville and haven’t been to Smiley’s, you’re missing out! They have the friendliest staff, a great atmosphere, and you can hear and see some of the best local (and not so local) musical talent around. If you’ve got musical chops, you may even want to check out their open mic night or live band Karaoke with Marc Gwinn and The Sound Committee.

The night they met, they sat at this exact table.
Of course we had to include Tyler and Corie’s dog in a couple shots.
On this beautiful Fall afternoon, we explored some places around Downtown Greenville for some more engagement photos.
Tyler’s police name badge.
A fall engagement photo session just wouldn’t be the same without roasting marshmallows in the back yard.

Something very special happened on Saturday…our good friend (and former photography associate) Corie got engaged to Tyler. We’re so happy for you both!
We had a great time with Ben and Shannon at this beautifully landscaped Cliffs community. Such a beautiful golf course! The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards Golf Course has amazing views of Lake Keowee.
Jeron and Rebecca’s wedding at Twigs Tempietto in Greenville, SC showcased some really cool details. From pink monogrammed bridesmaids shirts, to a Groom’s cake that looks like a Yeti cooler with beer on ice (great job Couture Cakes!), we knew this was going to be a fun wedding day!
Sooooo….this session was AWESOME! Hurricane Irma had just made its way through South Carolina the day before, so we were a little unsure if we’d still be able to do an outdoor engagement photo session.
One of the most important things that must happen in order to get great photos from your wedding is a good relationship with your photographer. Andy and Carrie knew that when they were planning their wedding, and made certain that they put in the extra effort to communicate with us and be very honest about what they wanted from their experience.
We started in the Village of West Greenville, then made our way North up Main Street through Falls Park all the way to One City Plaza for Anthony and Sarah’s Engagement photos.
Greenville, SC has so many incredible wedding venues right in the heart of downtown. One of our favorites, situated on the Reedy river next to the Main street bridge, is Larkin’s on the River. An intimate courtyard between Larkin’s and The Peace Center is where Jon and Bekah exchanged their vows. They enjoyed amazing food and aview of the Reedy River from the Shirley Roe Cabaret Room on the upper level of Larkin’s. Friends and family danced the night away on this mild April evening. Here are a few of our favorite photos from the day.
We had a lot of fun with Eric and Chancie! A beautiful wedding ceremony at Christ Community Church was followed by great food and dancing (thanks Robert Batson) at Twigs Tempietto. From a “Guitar Hero” groomsmen band to a gorgeous sunset to the bride and groom’s getaway in a Jeepster Commando, this wedding day is one we’ll never forget!
