The Furman University Campus is one of my favorite places to do outdoor family portrait photography because of the variety of looks you can get in such a small area.
Michael and Virginia are not only fellow Gamecocks (David & Kristina also graduated from USC in Columbia), but Virginia and David share the same High School alma mater (J.L. Mann). We had an absolute blast photographing their wedding at The Old Cigar Warehouse in Greenville, SC. Cocky even made a surprise visit to the reception and challenged a few of the guests to a dance-off. Pretty sure Cocky won, but don’t take my word for it.
Corie, one of David & Kristina’s good friends just got engaged to Tyler (check out the proposal photos here), so we were excited to do their engagement photo session. They met at Smiley’s Acoustic Café in downtown Greenville, so what better place to go as a starting place for their engagement photos.
Something very special happened on Saturday…our good friend (and former photography associate) Corie got engaged to Tyler. We’re so happy for you both!
We had a great time with Ben and Shannon at this beautifully landscaped Cliffs community. Such a beautiful golf course! The Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards Golf Course has amazing views of Lake Keowee.
Jeron and Rebecca’s wedding at Twigs Tempietto in Greenville, SC showcased some really cool details. From pink monogrammed bridesmaids shirts, to a Groom’s cake that looks like a Yeti cooler with beer on ice (great job Couture Cakes!), we knew this was going to be a fun wedding day!
Sooooo….this session was AWESOME! Hurricane Irma had just made its way through South Carolina the day before, so we were a little unsure if we’d still be able to do an outdoor engagement photo session.
One of the most important things that must happen in order to get great photos from your wedding is a good relationship with your photographer. Andy and Carrie knew that when they were planning their wedding, and made certain that they put in the extra effort to communicate with us and be very honest about what they wanted from their experience.
